We are the Equalizers and this is our platform to share information and awareness with you. Our website focuses on the topic Gender discrimination and the places it happens. You can find multiple episodes with matching podcasts here. As future teachers we have a lot of work to do and less time, so we made podcast from each episode for you to listen to while you keep working.

General information

Gender equality ensures that, for financial independence, education and personal development, men and women have equal influence and equal opportunities. A key component of achieving gender equality is woman's empowerment. It is a human right, but despite this, women around the world suffer violations of their human rights.

Survey

We created a gender discrimination survey in which people were able to share their experiences of discrimination based on their gender. Everything was anonymous and happened in a safe environment where people felt comfortable. You can have a look at the origins of the people participated and where they experienced gender discrimination.

On this website you will not only get information about gender discrimination, you will also be provided with materials about gender (in-)equality which you can include into your classrooms. We created worksheets and tips on how to talk about this topics with children and how to express yourself right.
